In case anyone was wondering where I’ve been for nearly a year: things have been busy. I got married, moved house to a more permanent and settled place, and, most importantly, I became a mother. I now have a beautiful little girl. So, I don’t really have time for keeping very active online these days and commissions are closed for the foreseeable so I can focus on enjoying being with my family and creating things privately for my own enjoyment. I will try to post occasionally in future, for fun, but honestly, I really don’t enjoy the internet much anymore. It has become a thoroughly unpleasant place, part mind mincer, part “simps for totalitarianism” training camp. I’m enjoying walking in the woods, being out in the garden, and playing with my munchkin. The real world is just a much nicer place to be.
I made this particular piece for my husband and have a lovely framed print of it up in the house. It’s nice to make things just for us.

We all doing well thanks , the only problem is winter has come early and I’m a bit of a weakling when it come to the cold , must be old age 😉.
We’re only just starting to get out of thermals and hot water bottles weather here. Some days it’s shorts and t-shirts in the garden time, others it’s back to cosy wearable blankets I kind of wish they did in adult size 😂👶 Hopefully the winter won’t be too hard for you there 🤞
😅😅😅👍🏻I will try and toughen up 😉but the wheat bag will be in use and I’m sure the heater will be edged up a little when my backs turned 🧐.
