Yennefer of Vengerberg fan art, work in progress. I loved her in the Witcher books and in the Netflix show. Anya Chalotra was perfect for the part. Take note Hollywood, this is how you write a strong female character.
It’s been too long since I’ve done something like this just for fun and I’m hoping you guys enjoy it too. I’m basing this piece on some of the shows promo photos, but will be deviating a lot once it gets to colour, as I’ll be adding in magic effects and something a bit different but, to me, representative of her character and her magic: a phoenix. That’s the plan anyway.
Hopefully I’ll find some time to finish her soon.

Excellent stuff, looking forward to seeing her in full colour. Loved the books myself and really enjoyed the TV show too. Will you be doing any more characters from the series? If so let me get a vote in early for Regis 🙂
Thank you! Regis is an excellent choice, could be very tempted! We will see if I find the time.
Now I think about it Angoulême would be a good pick too, she annoyed me a bit when she was first introduced but I grew to really like her (both she and Dandilion provided some much needed comic relief at times). In fact all of Geralt’s company were great, how about a picture of the whole team?
We shall see 😉
[…] Work in progress complete enough, I think. I’m quite pleased with her. Should I do Geralt or Ciri too? Let me know in the comments. […]

🏰 SO TRUE, LOVELIES. A GOOD SKETCH CAN BRING US A WITCHER OF 12th CENTURY, LIKE JENNEFER DE VENGERBERG.
[…] Witcher, I thought it might be fun to try the titular witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia. Unlike the WIP I doodled for Yennefer before moving quickly into colour, I ended up going into quite a bit of detail on this one. […]
