“Soulfire”, something personal I’ve been working on recently. The piece was originally titled “Goodbye” but, as is often the way with art, it evolved as it progressed. I’ve had to say a number of goodbyes over the last few years; some due to death, some due to arrogance, and some due to tragic circumstances. I don’t really like to talk about my personal life online, but my feelings often find release in my work. This was cathartic.
